Ruben Vardanyan permitted to speak with family, urged to pause hunger strike

YEREVAN, APRIL 25, ARMENPRESS.   Due to broad international support and pressure, Ruben Vardanyan, former Prime Minister of Nagorno-Karabakh and co-founder of the "Initiatives for the Development of Armenia" (IDeA) Foundation, who is currently held in a prison in Baku, had a telephone conversation with his family after 21 days of complete isolation, Vardanyan's office said.
