DETROIT LAKES — A Heartland Trail segment from Dunton Locks County Park to Bucks Mill would run to the east of Lake Sallie and Lake Melissa – following the corridors of Highway 59, County Road 22 or County Road 17, according to possible routes recommended by planners with Houston Engineering of Fargo.
