Peoria Riverfront Museum acquires King Louis XV plate

PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) —  The Peoria Riverfront Museum now has a very unique piece of decorative art on display. The museum acquired a Sèvres King Louis XV porcelain plate. The soft-paste porcelain plate is from the service given by King Louis the XV of France to Empress Maria Theresa of Austria back in 1758.
