Mr. López Obrador denies that the inactive money from Afores is going to be expropriated.

The pension reform is still catching up with the reflectors from the National Palace. President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has defended his proposal from La Mañanera, arguing that the money from the Inactive Afores of people over the age of 70 to integrate the Pension Fund of Welfare does not seek to expropriate or confiscate the savings of workers, as the right to claim their resources does not prescribe (or does not lose validity).
