Mother, son indicted in bail bond scheme that cost people thousands

Syracuse, N.Y. -- A mother and her son accused of a months-long bail bond fraud scheme have been indicted by a grand jury.Thirty-six people have been identified as victims of the scheme, a prosecutor said. They have put up money or property for bail bonds to stay out of jail in Onondaga County, only to find out the bonds were fraudulent.
