MNB warns of dangerous fraudsters: criminals are trying to extort money from unsuspecting victims with this trick

By copying several phone numbers of the MNB, fraudsters are again making phone calls to private individuals, either on behalf of the central bank or one of the credit institutions. During the conversation, customers would obtain confidential bank details, money or download spyware with them. The MNB and banks do not approach customers with such pretexts. It is advisable for injured citizens to contact the police.
