A truck driver is accused of killing a Utah police officer by driving into him

A person standing on a semi-trailer prompted a stop by a Santaquin police officer and Utah Highway Patrol trooper following a 911 call on Interstate 15.
The driver of the semi-trailer fled during the stop, drove the wrong way on the interstate, crashing into two police cars and killing the Santaquin officer.
The truck driver, Michael Aaron Jayne, 41, was identified and arrested after the incident.
