U.S. prosecutors subpoena files given to Capitol attack committee -NYT

Summary by Ground News
Federal prosecutors examining the role of former President Donald Trump and allies in events ahead of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol have subpoenaed National Archives documents provided to a House of Representatives committee, the New York Times reported. The request is yet another signal that the DOJ has ramped up its inquiry into efforts to overturn the 2020 election results. This includes at least 770 pages of documents that Donald Trump previously tried to shield from the January 6 panel.
